The A.I.D. program, sponsored by the ACMH auxiliary and volunteers, allows children to learn about healthcare, science, and community engagement. Each month participants will learn about a new exciting topic related to different aspects within the hospital and healthcare as well as participate in hands-on activities. The program will feature interesting guest speakers, an ability to see and interact with various medical equipment, and unique opportunities to meet and interact with our ACMH community all at age-appropriate learning levels. Each month is a standalone program and will feature a new topic.
The topic for April is Radiology!
To be completely transparent, this month’s topic will give you a whole new view of the human body. Hear from the experts who image the inside of our bodies, see some of the equipment used everyday by the radiology department and learn all about how we can look deeper inside us all!
Age range: 8-13 years old
