Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Clay is a dedicated and diligent surgeon. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama, and completed his residency at West Virginia University Charleston Area Medical Center. Before joining ACMH, Dr. Clay was employed by Geisinger Community Medical Center where he also served as Site Director for Resident Education. In addition, he was instrumental in developing Geisinger’s robotic surgery program and is now working toward a future in robotics at ACMH Hospital.
Providing excellent customer service and bedside manner, Dr. Clay was recognized in the top 10% at Geisinger for patient satisfaction. He takes ample time to communicate personally with his patients, breaking down medical jargon and ensuring all aspects of care are fully understood.
